Thursday 8 January 2026, 9.00a.m.-5.00p.m.
The European Business Chamber in Trinidad and Tobago and its partners are thrilled to open registrations for the 2026 Sustainability Workshop: Making Sustainability Second Nature: Insights for Operators.
We have selected the Kariwak Village and Holistic Haven to host our next workshop because this small hotel since its establishment in the 1980’s has promoted sustainable tourism. From the food and herbal gardens, the architecture and materials, support for local art and artists, to the wellness and recycling, reducing and re-using practices, the hotel has been a good model in terms of integrating sustainability.
TARGET
The workshop is targeted at:
- Businesses interested in learning more about the benefits of integrating sustainability into their operations;
- Businesses committed to integrating sustainability into their operations and ready to move towards an international sustainability standard or publishing a sustainability report in line with international standards;
- Businesses that depend on as part of their product, nature, healthy mangroves, coral reefs, bird sanctuaries, freshwater resources/ rivers, coastal areas;
- Businesses in proximity of sensitive areas;
- Professional service providers in the field and advocates who wish to learn about approaches, indicators, sustainability standards and metrics and to be updated and to network.
