The European Business Chamber in Trinidad and Tobago (EUROCHAMTT) is a non-profit organisation active in Trinidad and Tobago since 2013, promoting and supporting European business in Trinidad and Tobago. As well as supportingTrinidad and Tobago businesses and professionals seeking to gain access to European partners and exploring opportunities for doing more business with Europe. We are a membership driven organisation with members from a variety of sectors.
Trinidad and Tobago finds itself in a rapidly changing environment. The global shift in the energy market is driving the need for rapid market diversification, and digitalisation is at the forefront of the way business will be conducted. This drive for diversification and innovation presents great opportunities for European businesses. EUROCHAMTT is supporting our members to connect to these opportunities and help resolve challenges through our advocacy and trade support. We have, over the last years, supported our members with a variety of efforts to smoothen market entry, increase the ease of doing business, and look forward to continuing this effort with our members over the coming years.
Climate action has a prominent place within the business of many of our members and is high on the EU and global agenda. We expect that we will see continuedgrowth within the chamber around this topic in the form of seminars and NGO events and market entry of new members.
We believe in the strength of partnerships. EUROCHAMTT is therefore a member of the Belgium based European Business Organisation Worldwide Network, which is the voice of European business in third markets. We are further strengthened by the endorsement by the Delegation of the European Union in Trinidad and Tobago, which officially represents the European Union in Trinidad & Tobago. This enables us to strengthen our advocacy efforts but also gives our members an insight and access to the development programs, funding and tools that are made available through the diplomatic missions.
This website gives an overview of our members, events and news and updates around advocacy and trade support and climate action initiatives. We welcome you to further explore the information provided and invite you to get in touch with us for more information and look forward to welcoming those that are not yet connected as a member.

The European Business Chamber in Trinidad and Tobago (EUROCHAMTT) is a non-profit organisation active in Trinidad and Tobago since 2013. EUROCHAMTT promotes and supports European business in Trinidad and Tobago as well as Trinidad and Tobago businesses and professionals seeking to gain access to European partners to explore opportunities for doing more business with Europe. EUROCHAMTT works closely with the EU Delegation in Trinidad and Tobago and other EU based organisations by ensuring initiatives targeting the business sector are made known to its members and that members are positioned to benefit. We are a membership driven organisation with members from a variety of sectors, and a member of the European Business Organisation Worldwide Network which seeks to strengthen the voice of European business and promote European investment and trade in third markets.
We are living in a time of unprecedented change and transformation, underpinned by four key drivers: the changing geo-political environment impacting our economy, technology, society, and the need for climate action. However, within these currents of change, we see many opportunities for innovation, growth, and advancement and for a business support organisation that keeps members well informed, builds valuable partnerships and lobbies for a better business and investment environment.
The geo-political environment and trade volatility has led to fluctuations in supply chains and economic uncertainties which in turn require swift market diversification, innovation and transformation to added value products and quality standards. The potential for European-linked businesses is immense. We are here to help our members navigate through the uncertainty, connect with potential partners, and tackle challenges head-on.
The impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the way we conduct business by improving operational efficiencies and customer experiences. EUROCHAMTT seeks to connect expertise to harness the full potential of these technologies for our members.
Society’s developmental needs and changing behaviours pose a unique set of challenges. Expectations are evolving rapidly, making it paramount to deeply understand these changes. We are steadfast in our commitment to creating sustainable growth that meets these needs and exceeds expectations, facilitating a future of prosperity for all.
The urgency of sustainability and climate action holds a central role in our work, the work of the EU and the global agenda. We see this as a burgeoning field of growth and opportunity from attracting new investment in renewable energy, technologies for circular economy to new standards of operating, reporting and certifications. We are passionate about fostering the growth of businesses within our chamber that are part of the solution, hosting seminars and events, and welcoming new members committed to sustainable practices.
At EUROCHAMTT, we champion the strength of partnerships. As a proud member of the Belgium based European Business Organisation Worldwide Network, we amplify the voice of European businesses in third markets. Our strong ties with the Delegation of the European Union in Trinidad and Tobago further bolsters our advocacy efforts.

Who Are We?
The European Business Chamber in Trinidad and Tobago (EUROCHAMTT), is a non-profit membership driven organisation promoting European business interests and market access in Trinidad and Tobago. EUROCHAMTT also supports Trinidad and Tobago businesses and professionals seeking to gain access to European partners and opportunities for doing more business with Europe. EUROCHAMTT has been endorsed by the European diplomatic missions and the Delegation of the European Union and recognised by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2014, EUROCHAMTT became a member of the European Business Organisation (EBO)Worldwide Network – the voice of European business abroad. The EBO stands as the sole organisation representing European business interests in markets outside the European Union. It represents a network active in over 35 key markets that serves European multinationals, as well as micro, small, medium and large enterprises.
EUROCHAMTT is committed to identifying issues that affect our diverse membership so that we can effectively advocate for their business interests. We do this by monitoring the changing policy, legislative and regulatory environment, and the impact this has on the ease of doing business, and market access to Trinidad and Tobago.
For our members and local companies keen to explore the viability of exporting to Europe, we connect them with our network in Europe. EUROCHAMTT supports European companies including non-members (exporters, importers and investors) to explore the viability of entering the Trinidad and Tobago market.
Climate change is a global phenomenon and we all need to take climate action to promote sustainable development. We work with our members and partners to organise, implement or participate in special projects promoting climate action and ultimately the application of clean technologies in business.
EUROCHAMTT is an initiative of European and Trinidad and Tobago business persons, driven by the desire for stronger linkages, greater visibility of successful European/Trinidad and Tobago partnerships, better market access, and opportunities provided by the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement.
We are a non-profit, membership driven organisation. Our membership includes individual consultants, SME’s, and multinational companies from a wide range of industries. These include tourism, food and beverage, language consultancy, agriculture, recycling, energy logistics, freight forwarding, industrial gases, publishing, communications, and much more.
