Who Are We?
The European Business Chamber in Trinidad and Tobago (EUROCHAMTT), is a non-profit membership driven organisation promoting European business interests and market access in Trinidad and Tobago. EUROCHAMTT also supports Trinidad and Tobago businesses and professionals seeking to gain access to European partners and opportunities for doing more business with Europe. EUROCHAMTT has been endorsed by the European diplomatic missions and the Delegation of the European Union and recognised by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. In 2014, EUROCHAMTT became a member of the European Business Organisation (EBO)Worldwide Network – the voice of European business abroad. The EBO stands as the sole organisation representing European business interests in markets outside the European Union. It represents a network active in over 35 key markets that serves European multinationals, as well as micro, small, medium and large enterprises.
Our Pillars
EUROCHAMTT is committed to identifying issues that affect our diverse membership so that we can effectively advocate for their business interests. We do this by monitoring the changing policy, legislative and regulatory environment, and the impact this has on the ease of doing business, and market access to Trinidad and Tobago.
For our members and local companies keen to explore the viability of exporting to Europe, we connect them with our network in Europe. EUROCHAMTT supports European companies including non-members (exporters, importers and investors) to explore the viability of entering the Trinidad and Tobago market.
Climate change is a global phenomenon and we all need to take climate action to promote sustainable development. We work with our members and partners to organise, implement or participate in special projects promoting climate action and ultimately the application of clean technologies in business.
Membership
EUROCHAMTT is an initiative of European and Trinidad and Tobago business persons, driven by the desire for stronger linkages, greater visibility of successful European/Trinidad and Tobago partnerships, better market access, and opportunities provided by the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement.
We are a non-profit, membership driven organisation. Our membership includes individual consultants, SME’s, and multinational companies from a wide range of industries. These include tourism, food and beverage, language consultancy, agriculture, recycling, energy logistics, freight forwarding, industrial gases, publishing, communications, and much more.
