Gabriele De Gaetano


Gabriele De Gaetano, Milanese, has been living in Tobago since 1990. He is the Chef/owner of La Tartaruga Italian Restaurant in Buccoo Bay, Tobago and Director of We Trade Ltd, which specializes in the import and distribution of wines and Italian products. Gabriele has developed a network of business people who are interested to increase the quality of the products and services required in the tourism industry.

Gabriele has served EUROCHAMTT in the position of Director, Tobago Affairs since 2013. He has helped EUROCHAMTT with the development of the Tobago membership and with the implementation of the Tobago Good Foods Project. Always enthusiastic and supportive, Gabriele has contributed significantly to EUROCHAMTT’s visibility in Tobago and among visitors both Government and EU Embassies.

Kurt Kisto


Mr. Kisto is the Founder and Chairman of the Otsik Foundation for Human Development based in Trinidad and Tobago, he is the Chairman of Shyren-Deer Holdings S.A. of Panama, and Caribbean Bounty Farms Limited in Trinidad & Tobago.

He is the former Executive Director on the Executive Board of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and the Multi-Lateral Investment Fund (MIF). He has worked with Regional Conglomerates, International Development Institutions and Lectured at University. He worked at the level of Chief Executive Officer in the Forestry Sector in Guyana and Property Development Sector in Panama. He has also worked as Private Sector Development & Millennium Development Goals Specialist for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Caribbean Sub Regional Resource Facility) and as a Business Development Consultant for the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Iwokrama Rain Forest project.

He has served on the Board of Directors of several corporations, business and sector organizations, para-statal and Government organizations and on special sector committees appointed by donors, government, the NGO sector, community based groups and organizations. He has lectured both at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of Caribbean Business Environment, Business Strategy and Policy, International Business and International Money and Finance.

Philippe Bruchet


Philippe BRUCHET was born and educated in France and has been a Trinidad Resident since 1998.  Philippe has an MBA (ESSEC Grad. School of Business, Paris Catholic Univ.) majoring in Marketing and Cost Management, class of 1984.  He is bilingual English/French and also has a basic level in Spanish and German. He is the co-founder of Caribbean Caps & Containers Ltd, Trinidad (Aug.1997 to date) and represents European manufacturers in plastic packaging for the food and drink industries. Philippe has also served for many years in the French Foreign service as an export adviser for the French Ministry of Finance and External Trade.

Donna Ghany


Donna GHANY’S experience in industry and the business sector spans over 20 years and includes Health, Safety and Environmental fields, Secretarial and Administration and the airline industry.

Positions have included Supervisor, Passenger Service, Swissport; Coordinator, Health, Safety and Environment for Omega Pest Management; Operations Manager, Wolverine Safety Footwear (Cyrtoen Ltd.), Flight Attendant, BWIA; Research Assistant, Faculty of Management Studies, UWI, among others.

Donna is currently pursuing her MBA through School of Business & Computer Science (Heriot Watt University-Edinburgh Business School); She also has a Level 3 Certificate Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH (National Education Board of Safety & Health U.K.); Level 6 Diploma Occupational Safety & Health- Managing Health& Safety, Hazardous Agents in the Workplace and Workplace & Work Equipment also from NEBOSH (National Education Board of Safety & Health U.K.


Mia PERSAD- DOUGLAS is Chief Operating Officer of the family-owned KPA Group of Companies which has interests in upstream energy, energy consulting and publishing and real estate. 

Mia is based in Tobago and, as CEO of Southern Consulting Ltd has responsibility for Footprints Nature Reserve, a sustainably developed 62-acre resort property with accommodation, restaurant, an organic orchard, garden and apiary.

Mia has over 20 years of experience in sustainable and ecotourism development, niche market tourism and sustainable energy policy. 

Francis Maude


Francis MAUDE is a director at Donald Insall Associates Ltd, who are architects specialising in the restoration of historic buildings. Previous projects include the post-fire restoration of Windsor Castle, and a series of repair projects at the Houses of Parliament in London. Working in association with Bernard Mackay Architect in Trinidad, Francis has provided consultancy advice since 2004 on the successful restoration of Queen’s Royal College, as well as on the continuing projects for the restoration of the President’s House, Stollmeyer’ s Castle and the Red House.

These projects require continuing liaison between Trinidad and Europe, where many of the specialist consultancies, contractors and suppliers needed to support these projects are based. As such, he is well accustomed to the various procedures and challenges arising from collaborative projects between Trinidad and Tobago and Europe. He also has current projects in France.

Francis can work and communicate comfortably in French and English, and has some knowledge of German and Russian.

Marie Louise Norton-Murray


Marie Louise NORTON-MURRAY is a founding member and first President, EUROCHAMTT (2013, 2014, 2015- 2016). She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Economist whose main activity is the conceptual design, development and management of projects to support business competitiveness. She has worked in the international development field for over 12 years mainly with European programmes throughout the Caribbean and in business support for over 25 years.

After post graduate studies in Canada, Marie Louise was introduced to business support through the international, auditing firms: KPMG (1985 -1988); Deloitte & Touche, Ecuador (1991) and PricewaterhouseCoopers, Trinidad and Tobago (1992-2000) and its legacy firms. Her activity then expanded to supporting SMEs across the Caribbean with access to technical assistance at Development Finance Limited (2000 to 2008) where she was the contact point for the EU funded/ PROINVEST programme to promote investment flows; the Centre for the Development of Enterprise: to 2013, Santo Domingo) and independently since 2013.

She has a Masters in Economics (with emphasis on development and trade); University of Windsor, Ontario Canada (September 1984 to October 1985); and a B.A. in Economics (with Mathematics electives); University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada (September 1981 to April 1984).

She certified as a Canadian Management Consultant (2003 -2012) and a Project Management Professional (since 2007) and continues to pursue additional qualifications in the field of development.

Marie Louise can work and communicate comfortably in Spanish, French and English.
